As consumption increases, so does the volume of waste worldwide – a challenge particularly affecting islands with limited land area and rising tourism. The two-day conference focused on how sustainable and adaptable waste solutions can be implemented on islands around the world.
Over 100 stakeholders from business, science, politics, and administration gathered to exchange experiences, present best practices, and discuss perspectives for future developments.
